A wide range actually. Here are some examples:

  • Latex gloves (like glutaraldehyde - this problem should now have been resolved in the health care sector)
  • Other sterilants (as in OPA mentioned earlier) or cleaning agents (e.g. chlorhexidine, various quarternary ammonium disinfectants / detergents)
  • Possibly, aldehydes or related chemicals in other contexts e.g. glutaraldehyde in in radiography, formaldehyde in pathology
  • Acrylates (monomers) e.g. in orthopaedic surgery, maxillofacial laboratories and dentistry. 
  • Various others e.g. certain laboratory reagents, exposure to laboratory animals.
